Gravol is particularly effective in dealing with the nausea or vomiting associated with motion sickness, stomach- and flu-related illness. When taken orally, GRAVOL is quickly absorbed and starts to go to work immediately to calm symptoms. Relief can begin within 15 to 20 minutes and can last up to 8 hours, depending on the dosage form selected.

Directions

Adult: Take 1 caplet every 8-12 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 3 caplets in 24 hours. *Take the first dose at least 1/2 hour and preferably 1 to 2 hours before departure. Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage. MAY CAUSE DROWSINESS. AVOID DRIVING A MOTOR VEHICLE OR PERFORMING TASKS REQUIRING MENTAL ALERTNESS. Avoid alcoholic beverages. Do not take if you have: glaucoma, chronic lung disease, difficulty in urination due to an enlargement of the prostate gland or if you are pregnant or breast-feeding unless directed by a physician. Do not take with other antihistamines, tranquilizers or any other sedating drugs without consulting a physician. May cause excitability, especially in children. Prolonged use should be only on physician’s advice.
